Our summer walk was from the Village Green, up the steep climb to the top of Foxholes Lane and then on to Joe Neville’s shooting ground. Seven members walked and luckily, after 11 days of non stop rain, had a dry hike up. More members drove up and had refreshments ready. Anyone who wanted to shoot clays had a go with others watching or giving advice!
Our next meeting is on Monday 3rd June. Our speaker, Elizabeth Holloway, will give a humorous account of her life and travels on a narrowboat.
